6. GET WET
It's officially too hot to do much outside unless you're at least partially submerged in water. So while this is not the time to take up tennis, it is the time to try a new water sport.
According to Enrique Gianello, co-owner of Naples kiteboarding school, Wind Stalkers, now is the perfect time to learn to kiteboard. "The best time for kiteboarding in Naples is in the winter, but the best time to learn is during the summer when the winds are not so strong," he says.
When: Call ahead before you book a lesson to ensure wind conditions will be suitable for learning
Where: Windstalker’s Naples, 953 3rd ave north
Cost: A basic lesson lasts 3 hours and costs $300
Enrique Gianello stands next to his special paddleboard and most of the gear he will be taking with him, when he and a friend push off from either the Naples Pier or Caxambas Pass on a quest to paddle from here to Key West in roughly a week's time.
NAPLES, Fla -- A Naples man is setting out to accomplish something no one else has ever done. Sunday morning, Enrique Gianello will take off from a Naples beach and paddleboard his way to Key West more than 200 miles away. http://www.winknews.com/Local-Florida/2012-05-03/Naples-man-sets-out-to-paddleboard-from-Naples-to-Key-West#.UE2MWLKPWVo
